Syntax Studio and Akademi will host the first Ayiti AI Hackathon from November 28 to 30, where ten Haitian teams will create AI solutions for local challenges. Participants will receive mentorship, work on six themes, and be judged on innovation, functionality, and presentation. The event aims to empower young developers, promote practical AI applications in Haiti, and demonstrate that AI is not reserved for large tech companies or major research labs.
