German industrial giant Siemens on Tuesday said it has formed a data alliance with leading European machine builders to develop artificial intelligence (AI) for industry. The data alliance includes manufacturers such as Chiron, Trumpf, Grob, Renishaw, Heller and the Machine Tool Laboratory at RWTH Aachen university.
