Google, Justice Department File Dueling Remedies Proposals in Antitrust Search Case

Google and the Department of Justice filed dueling proposals late Wednesday night for how to interpret a federal court’s ruling on remedies to address Google’s illegal search monopoly.

Judge Amit Mehta’s remedies ruling earlier this month was widely viewed by antitrust experts as a positive outcome for Google. In his memorandum opinion, Mehta said that Google had to stop exclusive search
