President Donald Trump revoked President Joe Biden’s executive order (EO) on the Safe, Secure, and Trustworthy Development and Use of Artificial Intelligence, announced plans for an ambitious project code-named Project Stargate intended to revolutionize American AI infrastructure development, and signed several new AI EOs, including an early EO on Removing Barriers to American Leadership in Artificial Intelligence issued on Jan. 23, 2025.
