Meta Platforms has hired ex-Cruise CEO Marc Whitten to lead a new division in its Reality Labs Department focused on AI-powered humanoid robots. The company has also brought on John Koryl, the former CEO of luxury retailer The Real Real, to help boost retail sales of its wearable devices. The hires were first reported by Bloomberg News.
